Interaction design is heavily focused on satisfying the needs and desires of the people who will use the product.
Good user interface design puts emphasis on goals and completing tasks
incorporates aspects of psychology, anthropology, sociology, computer science, graphic design, industrial design and cognitive science…
User Experience design should assist a user’s goals and needs
Motion Design¶
- surfacing connections between states or views
- drawing attention to important details
- providing feedback
- experience without creating distraction
- amount of motion used should be just enough to get the intention across and no more
- look natural / expected (mirror motion familiar in the real world i.e. acceleration, gravity, ect.)
