One of the more simple cocktails from Death & Co., but the beauty is in its simplicity. One of my favorites to make purely because of its ease and surprising depth to the flavour.

• 2oz London Dry Gin
• 1oz Dry Vermouth
• 0.5oz Triple Sec
• Absinthe wash on glass

Chill coup glass. In a cocktail decanter add gin, vermouth, and triple sec. Add ice, stir to proper chill/dilution. With a sprayer (or just a bar spoon’s worth) give the glass a wash of absinthe. Strain decanter contents into the coup. Garnish with a lemon twist.
